Ancillary Legal serves documents originating from courts all across Georgia and the U.S. Some of the courts in GA allow for permanent or annual appointment, which grant the process server the power to serve documents issued from that court. Even if you’ve obtained your GA certification, you may still not be eligible to serve documents for courts if you don’t hold their specific appointment.
For courts that do not allow for annual or permanent appointment, Ancillary Legal will draft special appointment documents that can be filed with the court to get our server’s appointed to serve process in the case. These special appointment documents include: a signed & notarized Affidavit of the process server stating who they are, and why they should be eligible to serve process in the case, a Motion that is signed by the plaintiff’s attorney and details their request to have our server appointed, and an Order for the judge presiding over the case to sign upon reviewing the previously mentioned affidavit and motion papers.
